    CCT install failure, any help!!!

Yes, this exact thing happened to me too. I'd totally forgotten about the 270°! Thank you, if I get round to doing it again. [emoji106] Sent from my SM-G991B using Tapatalk

Will anyone in the USA rebuild the ABS control module?

Been on the thread now about 6 years and this is a recurring theme. My 2013 with 50 odd k miles on the clock at the time, went about 2 1/2 years ago. As with everyone else, the back went first. After replacing the rear master cylinder twice, just went for the 'race setup' (laughable description...

Sporadic Start Failure ( NOT "hard-start" issue....)

Yes I'd read those things too, and they're more expensive than a Yuasa. It was the fact that I was having trouble sourcing a Yuasa that gave me the final push into the purchase. So far absolutely no regrets. Sent from my SM-G991B using Tapatalk

Sporadic Start Failure ( NOT "hard-start" issue....)

I've a 2013 and it's happened sporadically over the 6 years I've owned it. Original battery when I got it, upgraded to 14s,a little improvement. Upgraded to a lithium a few months ago, no further issues! Fires first time every time. I can't can't offer you a diagnosis, many have mentioned it...

Losing rear brake after a good bleed.

New kevlar lines on a straight 'race' set up. As said great feel and bite, but no abs. I removed the old lines (there's alot) but left the pump and wiring alone, so there's no fault lights. I liked the Yamaha semi linked system but reconditioning was approx £600. I spent the first 30 35 years...

Losing rear brake after a good bleed.

Did exactly the same. Problem came back after a couple of weeks. Tried an oe repair kit and again lasted a couple of weeks. Turned out, it was the pump after all. Couldn't justify a new or reconditioned unit on a 7 year old bike and went for straight set up bypsss with no abs. Would have have...

Lower seat mod leaves seat feeling like it's going to fall off bike

Had the exact same issue with mine when I got it (2nd hand). Previous owner had removed all the bump stops? [emoji848] I used similar to the furniture protectors being described just where the front ones had been (only) . Put the adjustment sub-frame to the high setting but when replacing the...

Losing rear brake after a good bleed.

Bypassed. Got the smile you talked about in an earlier post. The front has a better feel to it as well. In the dealer buying head bearings, asked in passing how much a new ABS module was, second hand could have me back in trouble. £2011... Even the dealer parts guy was embarrassed! [emoji849]...

Losing rear brake after a good bleed.

Thank you very much again for your time. I only found your initial post via Google, and as a result only got to see a tiny proportion. I've been on the other S10 forum for best part of 4 years. All I saw was your earlier fix, when you cut out just the rear. That's why I couldn't understand why...

Losing rear brake after a good bleed.

Thinking it through overnight. I would ride quite enthusiastically solo and do big continental tours with the other half FULLY loaded. Did you discover why the back brake went off again? If your initial fix hasn't totally worked, or you were unsure of it, I may go for the bypass. I had a GS...

Losing rear brake after a good bleed.

Hi Mike. I have a 2013 with 50k miles on it. Only just found your post unfortunately. Exactly same symptoms, a second hand rear master AND factory service kit later, I find it's the ABS unit! The bike cost £6k 4 years ago when it only had 1.5k on the clock, so a new abs unit really isn't a...
