I understand your point. How is it to work on ST10, is it as easy as on FJR? BMW GS and GSA need too much work, there is something that needs to be done, every 6K or so. I'm just worried about getting S10, because I ride two-up 90% of the time and always 18+ days trips, I know that FJR can...

So, if Yamaha does not suggest using side and top cases together, how can someone use the bike to travel from Chicago to Alaska Two-Up for 25 days? I would think that paying so much for a bike, that type of riding should not be a problem. Would it make a difference if used some aftermarket...

I think the only part that worries me about the Super Tenere is the resale value is not as good as on the BMW R1200GS/A.
