Which AirHawk fits best on the S10?

I use the medium cruiser on long trips, it does take a bit of getting use to and does raise the seat height a little. The secret is not to over inflate it. But I am more than happy with it. I have tried the gell insert before on a FJR but found it gets hot when exposed to the sun ie when...

Mourning the passing of well ....sigh

I agree , Ive always had good service from the staff, used their waterproof boots which do remain waterproof. A sad loss to the bikeing high street. I did have my doubts, Ive had more texts and E mails offering discounts over the last few months than before, that with a noticable reduction in...

KAS I am sure that you will enjoy your trip, If like me you avoid the toll roads /motorways just watch your speed in the towns and villages they do attract the local police with the radar gun. As others have said it will be a requirment for reflective material to be displayed on the upper part...

I take my hat off to the riders, the TV pictures don't show the true extent of the mountain sections, last year we rode the sections covered in todays race, some fantastic roads. Well done Bradley hang onto that yellow shirt.

    headlights for european travel

Matt, I use the AA web site to check what was is required before going over the water , When I was touring through France Germany Italy Austria Croaita and Slovinia, the site indicates which countries require what to be fitted ,or carried for each country. I can't quote the law for each of...

    headlights for european travel

Ive biked over the water for the last nine or so years, motorcycles are exempt from the need to fit anything to diflect the headlamp beam such as is required for four wheel vehicles. Ive never had a problem with other drivers, I have been stopped by the police in Italy and France a few times ...

    Lot's of FJR1300 owners

I have had three FJR's and ridden them since 2003, during the time I had them I toured Europe each year and never had a problem, the bikes all did what I wanted with ease. I have swopped the FJR for a S10, due to the poor winter and other things which have taken my time I have not had much...

John O'Groats to Lands End 860 miles in a day!

I was up there two years ago, when I went over to the Orkney's its a bit on the bleak side if the weather is poor, and the roads are two way quite narrow, so wish you well with the trip. The hospice's are the only charity that I give to, having my wife pass away in the local one 11 yrs ago...

    tonights tipple is ?????

If you like whiskey, forget scotch, try an Irish such as Jameson, much smoother goes down a treat, but I don't know if its available on the other side ?? and for beer it has to be a dark one, not chilled to death. Gerry

    Newbie in the UK...

Hi Matt. I think the only thing is to take one out for a decent test ride, I am sure you will like the S10 but we are all different and like or dislike different things. I moved from a FJR 1300 to the S10, I have not had much chance to use it as yet due to the onset of winter ,but have been...

    Yamaha pannier locks?

My S10 came with the locks fitted to the boxes, The locks look the same as those that were on my FJR, s If I recall one or two owners had problems with those small screws working loose, a little locktight on the threads did the trick. I never had a problem myself and will be checking the screws...
