    That's weird

When I had a R1200GS Adventure... I rarely saw another on the road. When I had a KLR, I might have seen two or three. When I cruise the interstates, Harleys are what you see. I love my (second) Super Tenere and don't need others to validate my decision. They are great all around bikes...

    2014 Stall immediately after start

So, I've just completed 600 miles on my 2014...after upgrading from the 2012. The new bike has done the following about 3 or 4 times on a cold start. You start it, the engine catches, and you are convinced you have a good start, and after 1 second... it dies. It might take a bit more cranking...

    Aluminum Valve Stems?

Should have gone for the metal valve stems but I went for the TP checker - bought from Amazon, installed in wheels by dealer... I just installed the display and no rear tire pressure. I ended up mounting the display on the brake master cylinder and it is really dim and hard to see. I don't...

    Aluminum Valve Stems?

Thanks for the replies. Our unique spoked, tubeless wheels pose some fit challenges. Maybe I will just get the orange system and sell te other TPMS. Thanks again!

    Aluminum Valve Stems?

Getting ready to pull off the Tourance EXPs and put on some Trail Attacks. I would like to put on aluminum valve stems so I can run a TPMS. Does anybody know of aluminum valve stems that work with our wheels? Thanks in advance, Lisa

Tiregard Remote Tire Pressure Monitoring System - anyone?

I put 90 degree metal valve stems and a valve mounted TPMS system on my R1200GSA. It worked great and it was very interesting to read tire temperatures as well. Bought the Tenere and am waiting for a tire change to put the valve stems on and use it on the Yamaha. I. Bought after picking up a...

Any former R1200GS owners who can answer.....

I put 25,000 miles on a 2007 GSA, bought s S10 and put 700 miles on it, and sold the GSA. They are both fine bikes - I sold because my dealers are about 1.5 hours away and BMW bikes like dealers. The mental strain of reliability was also a factor... my BMW never left me anywhere but it did...

I want to buy the Yamaha Piaa lights

Thanks for posting... I have been very pleased with the headlights on the S10 but actually miss the added daytime sparkle of added lights. I ordered http://www.catoctinoffroad.com/recon-264500bk-led-driving-utility-lights-oval-black?___store=en_cor&___store=en_cor and hopefully will them soon...

Would you have bought your Tenere if it was the same price as a BMW 1200GS?

After putting 1,000 miles on a new S10, I sold my GSA with 25,000 miles. The BMW never left me anywhere... but there were some annoying issues handled under warranty, and it was no longer under warranty. For the time being, I am in the Yamaha camp.

    GIVI crash bars

I think the 2nd and 3rd set would be a breeze. Following the instructions, side braces, followed by the stuff in the middle just gets you in trouble. The ones that say put the front/middle pieces in first and install the side crash bars last have it right. Good to see you in the ST family...

    GIVI crash bars

Remind me not to buy anything Italian again. I like them now that they are installed... but I should have refreshed my memory about this thread before I went to putting them on. What a pain in the butt...

    Throttle lock...what have you intalled?

My last bike had a Kaoko throttle lock... I think I am in love with the Go Cruise. So incredibly simple and does not get in the way at all. I love the simplicity of this thing. I'll try it on a 1,000 mile day at the end of the month and hopefully will still feel the same way.
