    Front Brake / Brake Light

Sorry for the long delay. My Tenere was a 2017. I traded it for a Harley-Davidson Sport Glide just before Thanksgiving. For what it's worth...the Sport Glide's front brake switch works perfectly ;). As others have already remarked on, the issue would be either the switch actuator being too...

    Front Brake / Brake Light

Just curious if someone could check something on their motorcycle for me... Could someone verify that the first contact in their front brake switch disables the cruise control, and the second contact actuates the brake light? I just want to make sure my switch harness isn't wired incorrectly...

    Front Brake / Brake Light

Just curious if anyone has ever had an issue with too much brake lever pull before the brake lights came on? I noticed this a few months ago and have been investigating a little since. I first noticed it when setting in traffic coming home from working late. I noticed the license plate of...

Rear ES Rebound Theoretical Adjustment Offset

That's what I'm thinking. The screw has been molded into the plunger, so I can't disassemble them. I may put a few drops of epoxy on the end of the plunger, let it harden, then re-shape it so it's a tad bit longer. Still rolling around ideas in my head.

Rear ES Rebound Theoretical Adjustment Offset

Today I tried unplugging the rear damping stepper and then adjusting the damping setting. Got a fault instantly. I don't think that method would have worked anyway...it seems like the stepper motor goes through a re-origin routine when the ignition is turned on. I took a chance and removed...

Rear ES Rebound Theoretical Adjustment Offset

I will likely dig into this as a winter project. Hopefully I won't be posting a picture of my shock in 20 pieces and myself with a not-so-bright look on my facing holding a sign that says "Please Help".

Rear ES Rebound Theoretical Adjustment Offset

I wanted to run a couple ideas past any suspension-savy members out there: I have an ES model Super Ten. I have put on a slightly heavier rear spring (476 LB/in). The rear rebound could use a boost (although its not terrible as-is). I run my suspension damping setting on Hard +2 to get more...

ES fork springs, anyone updated them?

I believe the root cause may be Interweb Gremlins. They are pesky critters.

ES fork springs, anyone updated them?

Thanks for the data. I may reach out to Sonic Springs later and do this as a winter project.

ES fork springs, anyone updated them?

Could you share what spring rate you chose? Thanks.

ES fork springs, anyone updated them?

I was checking to see if anyone had any updates on this subject. I have an ES model, and I am thinking about putting linear rate springs in my forks, and I'm not sure where to look for replacement springs. I know RaceTech doesn't have the ES model on their website (or, at least, I haven't...

S10 ES Fork Preload - Does it exist?

The bike is only a couple weeks old. I bought it new. The stepper motor is adjusting the preload correctly...looks like about 15mm or so change between One Helmet preload and Two Helmet + Luggage preload. Never had any issue with any of the suspension faults. Stock spring was just a little...

S10 ES Fork Preload - Does it exist?

Before I swapped out the rear spring, I had way too much sag on the rear end. I was riding solo on Two Helmet setting. There was too much rear sag when riding with my wife even with the highest preload setting. But on the front, it has always felt like too little sag...even before I swapped...

S10 ES Fork Preload - Does it exist?

Just looking for a little more sag on the front end. It would be nice to reduce the preload just a bit. The spring rate feels good, so I'd prefer to keep the same springs. I wonder if there is a preload spacer in there I can trim down a bit? :-\

S10 ES Fork Preload - Does it exist?

The ES model does not adjust the fork preload...it does the rear shock preload, rear shock rebound , fork compression , and fork rebound (basically, everything but the fork preload). It's no problem that it doesn't adjust the front preload, because in my experiences you don't have to adjust it...

S10 ES Fork Preload - Does it exist?

Getting the suspension set up on my new Super Tenere. Is there a way to adjust the fork spring preload? It looks like the fork caps have a nut-type thing around where the damping connectors are...do these turn? I figured I would ask before I just go torquing on things.

S10 ES rear shock Racetech SRSP 6022 series direct replacement spring!!!!

Just swapped my rear spring out this week on my 2017 ES. I used an SRSP 6022085 (476 LB/in). Nice drop-in fit with no shims / spacers required. I weight about 200-210LB geared up and have some luggage and with misc. rain gear, 12V pump, work back-pack, etc. I'm running One-Helmet for solo...

New Super Tenere Owner in SW Ohio

Just picked up a 2017 S10 ES last Saturday. This will be my new commuter machine. Mods so far: Vario spoiler, top case, fog lights, and GPS mount. I got Yamaha side cases on order. I also have a new (heavier) rear spring coming in from Racetech.
