Another new bike that I saw the other day is the Aprilia Capanord 1200. I did not consider it because I did not know it existed. Has cruise, comes in 2 models with lots of electronic features. I still think I would have bought the S10 because I think the Aprilia is overpriced for a chain drive bike.

I got the 42L version of the Givi trekker outback because you can't open the lids of the oem yamaha sidecans with the bigger top box. I have had 2 other monokey top boxes(one a 52L) and no problems with the mounting system. If someone has broken the front tabs it would be nice to know.

Congrats. In Canada the 60th anniversary models are yellow 2016's.I bought the S10 over the others just to get cruise control. The roads were sort of dry the other day so I went for a short ride and put it in cruise. Works just like a car does.

We got ours as soon as they were available. Going for a month in June camping at Banff, Jasper and then Kootenay parks. No S10 though trailer camping and no way to haul it along.

I just got my new 2016 S10 and the bags are not installed at the factory.They came in 3 cardboard boxes, the lock tumblers (3) came under the seat. Maybe the dealer was supposed to put them on for me ?. Amazing that we Canadians get the bags for free and everyone in the US has to pay for them.

Glad I read this thread.My case instructions were sadly lacking as far as the tumbler install went. Did not notice any mention of loctite, so I just went out and put some blue loctite on the tumbler bolt threads. Good tip thanks.
