Eric what kind of motorcycle have you been riding lately ?
What brand tankbag is that in the picture ?
I am currently riding a Yamaha XSR700. Play bike rather than distance, though it has done a couple of multi-day trips with some soft luggage. I did a couple of Scooter Cannonballs on a Honada ADV150 too. It has over double the miles on it than the XSR, but is a year older. (21k Vs 9k) My wife stopped riding motorcycles, :( but still rides scooters. I haven't been getting out for riding and touring like we used to.

The tank bag on the S10 is a SW-Motech EVO City bag on a EVO quick lock ring. The EVO bags are out of production, but the newer PRO line has some similar sizes to fit their new PRO ring mounts. I loved that bag. Not too big, expandable when needed and super easy off/on at gas stops.

And? How fast did she go?
I didn't actually take it on the salt flats, I was warned not to as it would I would have to make sure I washed it immediately to prevent corrosion. I did take it the straight pavement, (no traffic), and took it to 7500 rpm in top gear before I backed off. I don't remember the exact speed, but I think it was 117mph according to my GPS.

Good call, no need to hurt the bike on purpose. I know from experience that she will go a bit faster. I’ve seen 215km/h-133mph at the dash and there was some left. Safe travels!
