Gents, I also had a similar issue while riding today. Stalling while coming up to a stop/turn. Did it at almost every slow/stop for the whole ride - probably 5 times in a 15 minute tube frame. I did notice the other day after some winter maintenance that my back tire was still spinning slowly...

Installed my new tank pads and removed the tail rack and installed a small case.

Glad you are all okay and can tell it as a campfire story in future years. Oddly enough, I too used that Cle Elum Uhaul in a pinch to haul an old GS750 back to my house near Olympia (when I lived there). Sounds like their customer service hasn't changed in the last 12 years.

Brought it home yesterday! Rode about 250 miles to get it home and it was a treat. It has a throttle lock (never had one before) and grip heaters (never had those before either). Already in love with it.

I'm a day late, but I took MY bike from its previous owner in Fort Collins to my garage a few hundred miles away. Happy new SuperT owner!

Yes, thank you. I am asking all of the general maintenance questions I think of and it all seems to be checking out okay. Sounds like a good, conscientious owner. Getting hands on the bike may tell a different story, but for now, the guy seems to be very forthcoming with any issues.

That one is gorgeous, but sadly, a bit beyond my monetary reach at the moment. The white is probably my favorite scheme.

:D:D No kidding! I think it'll come down to if I can get in touch with the ones in Rapid City before the bikes are gone. I'm guessing they'll probably all need similar levels of maintenance and odds-and-ends that need replacing/repairing.
