Hello fellow inmates… today, went for a spirited ride trough the western NC mountain. I had sun, rain and sense fog. When I went back home, put the bike in the garage, went for a beer and when i went back to the bike to take stuff off the bike, I noticed on the floor 2 or 3 oil drops. :-\ oil...

    YOSHIMURA SUPER TENERE exhaust

Eric, I totally agree with you that we make small changes and they satisfy only our ego when telling stories at the meet-up. Not transcending the bike. Until late in my life, I lived in Belgium, and I was, I'm like you, I consider motorcycle as a way of transportation, and sometimes as...

    YOSHIMURA SUPER TENERE exhaust

Hello EricV. I hear your comments and this resume life long discussion about after market exhaust. Lot of bike with high mounted exhaust does not have heat shield. (ducati monster for example). Also, if you ask the hot chick to sit on the bike, you will see her beautiful legs are far in front...

    YOSHIMURA SUPER TENERE exhaust

I did install the Yoshi can, looks great and sounds perfect, not too loud with a deep throat. One thing i never liked on my ST is the controversial "heat shied". I do not believe that the first function of this plastic cover is for heat control but is first to hide the huge, ugly and cheap...

    Visual horizon & throttle control

Hello, That is something I learned many years ago. If you practive enough, it will become automatic and you will be very smooth but also musch safer. When vanishing point come torward you, it means you are closing your safety room. You can practive that driving car too. I teach that to my 16...

Would you have bought your Tenere if it was the same price as a BMW 1200GS?

Definitvelly no, I did consider both bike as well, but the 26,000miles service interval, all hex screws (no torx as on the BMW) rock solid reputation on the Super Tenere, (this is not a new bike in Europe), lead me to the S10. It is also a little form the heart as my fisrt bike was a XV750...

But day after day....it's an other story. Skid plate is already on as I hit oil plug and cut oil level sensor...
