I wasnt sure either, but I ended up taking of the stock gasket and bolting up. I went for a ride and sure enough it had worked itself loose, I gave it a few more turns and all is ok for now. Ile keep an eye on it and like you said, if a new gasket is needed it would be very thin indeed.

Same here, they are crap arent they. Im more than happy with the panniors but the locks are cheap and nasty. An alternative lock would be nice but cant find anything that would fit. To be honest, ive just learnt to live with them. I think there maybe a thread or 2 on here somewhere just like yours.

Re: Very hard starting today It looks like im also in your gang, ::020:: bike is completely standard and decided to fit the o2 sensor eliminators which went without a hitch. Started the bike up no problem just to be sure I hadnt disturbed any wiring whilst fitting, let it run for 20 seconds...

It does look a nice package, Ive got symtecs with grip puppys and although the heat through the grip puppy could be better, its just ok. Without grip puppys I found the grips got to hot on the highest setting.
