How bent are you? Like just not holding air or unround? When I bent mine I was on a trip, I slapped a tube in it and rode for another year... before shipping off to Woodies...
I have 'em. Happy with them for years. Moved them over from my vstrom. I've gone through multiple racks in wrecks, but the cases have held up.
Side open can be a little awkward.
They're heavy but I don't know how it compares to Al boxes.
Ah thanks. Next step is to get closer to 600 mi... I need to check the maintenance schedule. If it's oil/oil + inspections maybe Ill just do it, and from the sounds of things it might not be too big a deal to go out there. May still take you up on the ride though at some point.
