I agree with Arkyrider the Puig combination works well.

I use a Tourtec air cushion, same as the Airhawk but half the price.

63 years, I’ve had a Shovelhead for 35 years which is now semi retired as the S10 has the long distance duties.

Re: My LAZY mod..... Here is my bike,this was a must do mod because of a leg injury. Other side is just forward peg.

I don’t know how many S10 are sold in the UK but in my three years of ownership I’ve seen maybe half a dozen others.

I have a 2014 ES and regularly get 54 mpg on super unleaded in genuine tank to tank tests not what the fuel computer tells me.

At the end of the day experimentation is the name of the game.

Go for the ST, when people question your choice tell them that pushing broken bikes is not your thing.

Go for it, just be prepared for your riding buddies to be underwhelmed by your choice, don't worry you were right all along. At 6'3" like me you will probably like the Puig touring screen. Happy days ahead.

OK here we go, started riding in 1971 mostly Japanese,some Triumphs, been riding a Harley Shovel since 1983 still got it, have two GSX1100G ,bought the S10 a couple of years ago for more European travel. The Shovel is getting a bit long in the tooth for long distance or maybe it's just my bones...

I bought mine without a test ride no regrets, if you do get a chance for a ride do at least 40 miles then you will realise what the bike is all about.
