My new to me ST 14' came with a heavy clutch action. I took the lever out, cleaned and greased everything and now feel way lighter. Also, do not install shorty levers, this clutch works way better with the EOM levers.
I am in the process of returning to an ADV bike after owning a KTM 990. Rode (on road) both a ST and GS and I am leaning towards the ST mainly due to reliability and cost of maintenance. My question to you is, do you see big differences between the GS and ST in the dirt? Not a hard core off...
