I also replaced my fan with a used R6 fan. I had to swap the connector plug and the fan from the XT1200 to the R6 fan motor. Much cheaper than an XT1200 fan and it works fine. I had the same issue; tip over to the left, pinch fan, burn out motor, burn out fuse. M

Hey Bigbob, I see in this pic that there is upper crash bars attached to oem crash bars. I am interested in adding bars to my oem bars to protect to radiator etc. Are these aftermarket or a one/off fabrication. Anyone else who knows anything about this setup please jump in. Marshall
