dmulk, did you decide on fan-less based on longevity of service? If they both need the cap I'd think the one with a fan would last longer in theory? LED lighting in these applications are pretty new so I guess it's usually a crapshoot what works and what doesn't.
Very cool. The stock bulbs have survived me over a year and 10k miles with no issues other than not being bright enough for night riding! This installation would be easier and much cheaper than installing auxiliary LEDs.
Just installed the stubby oval. Can confirm this muffler fits well with the stock head shield as well as with GIVI side-bag mounts.
Did anyone experience a faint leak around the connection between the can and pipe? I can get the pipe to the header connected without any leaks as the OEM Yamaha...
