Unless you have a really agressive right wrist and with only 1500 miles on the battlewings, they will make it with only one replacement set starting with the set you have on it. 6000 to 8000 miles per set easily.
Bought my bike used. No matter how I rode I would get between 168 and 172 miles before the gauge started flashing. Found a speedohealer hid in the bodywork and took it off. Now I get 205 miles before flashing gauge and 250 miles before fill-up.
Yes it will work. It'a a new number and I think it's a longer filter.

Try Markel. They specialize in motorcycles and other toys. 1-800-236-2453. Used them for years and very reasonable. They were the best place when the auto insurers were outrageously priced. Now my auto ins. co. is very reasonable. Most expensive part is un-insured motorist.
Don't have the itch problem, but I haved noticed that this bike has a swirl of air right under my helment and I can really notice it when it's cold. Never had this on any other bike. Seems to be the front design. The gap under the headlight everyone talks about lets a lot of air blow through...
Thanks. About what I get, but all bikes I've ever had would at least get 42 and above. The average for this bike is the worst I've gotten in others when I run them into the ground.
