    Final Drive Oil Leak

    My final drive started leaking from the aft end of the shaft at the weep hole. Cause is failed seal from a grooved bushing. Parts coming from Japan so I sit in Bangor Me. First problem in 36,000 mi.

    Rides to the Yukon

    I plan on leaving Seattle area on Jun 27 and traveling thru Pemberton to Lillooet, then the unpaved to Williams Lake, depending on time more unpaved to Vanderhoof, then 37 to Whitehorse. I am flexible on the time and route if someone wants to tag along. Jim A

    Tires for a 5000 mile road trip

    I used non EXP tourances only on a GS1200 for 60,000 mi and got 10,000 mi + on the rear and 15,000 mi on the front riding about 95% paved surfaces. I love them! Jim A

    Compare FJR to S10

    I cannot speak to riding two up, but after 2 fjrs and 6500 mi on the S-10 and some 600 mi. plus days I find the riding position more to the liking of my old bones. The only thing I miss is the HP. Jim
