I got my Dakar E07's through revzilla. I guess my question is why would you not? Save a couple of bucks? How much will it cost you if you rip a sidewall? Confidence is worth the little extra for me.

I'm 300 lbs and I swapped out for the heaviest race tech spring they had. It made a huge difference in the overall ride. The stock front springs are fine when you have the right back set up. The front can be dampened just right stock, the back is about 2 imaginary "clicks" away from perfect...

Put on a $20 kill switch from cycle gear and "looped out the fuse" as described in this thread. I now have a "Trail Mode" without ABS. Took about 30 min. Everything works but the ABS in Trail Mode.

Rode HB to Silverado canyon, up maple springs to main divide, down Indian truck trail to i15, Ortega to the 5 then back to HB. 124 miles with 75% of the ride time spent on the dirt. I am cooked.

Wow, so much to say. First, the seat I received is only about 3 degrees flatter than stock out of the box so I had to do the seat mods. Next after only 50 or so miles the rubber bumpers were all destroyed so I replaced them with stock ones I had. I was disappointed about how small and soft...

Got mine today, I am going to start with the new seat modded down in the back. It is much firmer than the OE and that is big for me. I will update when I get some miles on it.
