On My gs1200 I had pelican 1550s which seemed perfect for side cases. Used the mount and quick release for them from twisted throttle.
Went to caribou cases on the Tenere. Nice integration and love the cases. My GS went down several times on the pelicans and they always took it like champs...
Late to the party but I sold my 2013 LC GS and bought a 2013 Tenere and would not go back.
The goods of the GS:
Cruise, heated grips, electronic adjustable stuff(Tenere past 2014 has this though).
Bit more power and torque

I went from a 2013 GS with the electronic suspension to a Tenere without. For me it is a long term cost thing. If you do off road(and I do) the shocks are going to need work(especially if you load it down) and the costs go up dramatically on the ES versions compaired to the standard old non...

installed the mastech headlight guard and skid plate as well as the Givi engine bars, touratech sidestand foot and adjustable windshield mount as well as removed the back seat. Have the Carribou rack and cases coming in in the next day or so so more fun to come!

I traded in my 2013 BMW LC GS and odd thing I find is that people mention the S-10 is low on power and rough at low RPMs. If that is the case then people will REALLY hate the BMW for that. I can lug at 1500 rpm on the S-10 no issue. On the beeemer it would jerk me around like crazy until I hit...
yup, and did a search of the forum and long google searches. Plenty of info on the body paint just not what that dang engine paint color is..lol...Weird they make it so hard to find.
