2024 S10 We can all rest easy

From my reading, there are rust issues, poor quality paint, touch panel issues, gas tank issues, maybe fork issues, and some are reporting vibrations in the bars that put their hands to sleep. As someone with significant nerve damage in their body, the vibration one is a huge concern.

I am primarily a road rider who does fire and mildly maintained forest roads. I don’t ride hard off road. I like the AT a lot. The touch screen and other issues do concern me a bit.

I am considering the AT but the issue is they keep adding tech to the bike and the more you read on it the more issues people are having. For a tubeless/cruise version you are $15k+ when I can get a comparable S10 for $11k. $4k is a lot of gas and trips.

BMW and other manufacturers have their internal programs that techs and people and can purchase, GS911, for example. Does Yamaha have something similar? I always used my MotoScan App to cycle the ABS, calibrate the IACS, clear service lights, etc. It would be awesome if you could get something...

So apparently they are open about their shenanigans? originally it was $13,800ish. Then dropped to $10,495 and now they raised the price to $12,997. BMW is sold ti a very happy buyer.

Since my S10 I have had 2 BMWs and a Honda. I want another S10 because of the lack of gizmos that are nice while they work but not fun out of warranty.
