High front guard to suit the 21" wheel on the WASPmobile..

Thanks for the reply Eric. Do you have the .DXF for the mount? How did you like the 21" front, any regrets? Whenever I break a moto or car part I usually upgrade, so hence my curiosity to go larger. Thanks for the photos of the brake lines, Happen to have the lengths? Diameters, fitting sizes?

High front guard to suit the 21" wheel on the WASPmobile..

Old thread, but curious, photos aren't showing up, what front fender ending up working? I went through the replies, I think it's a Suziki, but year/make/model? Long winters here in Maine and I trashed a front wheel so going to the 21" Thanks in advance. -Geoff

Penske 20MM Piston Shim Stack Order, Forks, I'm !@#$#$

If you have all the correct tools and follow directions it’s just a systematic process, lots of steps. I messed up and changed the order of the shims and pinched a spacer, so I had to tear everything down twice. If lots of parts and compressing a large spring are intimidating may be worth...

Sorry, I don’t remember. I do recall the Penske website having detailed schematics on these parts. Hope that helps.

Penske 20MM Piston Shim Stack Order, Forks, I'm !@#$#$

I don’t think it can be any worse, but it’s a good question if it’s 400 bucks better.

The Stoltec springs are chosen based on your weight and load, they are also a constant coil, vs the stock which are a general dual rate. Shock internals are “tuned”. Honestly, this part was witchcraft to me. I can conceptulize what is happening, varied discs flex at different forces, and let oil...

Are you asking about the difference of the physical parts or the ride quality difference?

Engine Oil leak on lower right side of the crankcase dowel pin area

New gasket has about 20 miles on it. Would you replace it again since the cover is off? It went onto cleaned surfaces.

Engine Oil leak on lower right side of the crankcase dowel pin area

I have a 2012 ST and finally developed this oil leak during an 1800 mile trip to Canada. Figured it was the gasket, replaced the gasket, but while do so I noticed a small crack in the alignment pin area on the cover itself. Replaced said cover, still leaking, so I came here to investigate...

Penske 20MM Piston Shim Stack Order, Forks, I'm !@#$#$

All good, Nick is going to square me away tomorrow. If anyone wants to know, I can report back with the change. My baseline is pretty bad because the fork has been leaking for quite some time, so it's going to be an incredible change. Also went with the linear springs.

Oh wow, thanks for letting me know, certainly explains why I couldn’t find any information. I wrongly thought this was an off the shelf kit that has a proper sequence, didn’t realize they are unique and proprietary. Absolutely, I won’t publish without Nick’s consent. Which you’re correct, it...

Penske 20MM Piston Shim Stack Order, Forks, I'm !@#$#$

The weather is finally incredible here in Maine and I have my fork in pieces. My question is, does anyone have the shim stack order for the Penske 20mm kit that goes into the Super Tenere? Nick at Stoltec sells the kit. I have no issues getting the fork torn down, but I once I broke the...

    What's your favorite stove?

Jet Boil. The thing just works, no fuss, packs super small, and is light. For a few extra bucks you can turn it ito a french press. No regrets. http://www.jetboil.com/Products/Flash-Cooking-System-Tomato/
