I painted the backsides of mine, plasti dip I s fantastic stuff ::008::

I used all the stock hardware without adding any extra washers and mine works great ::008:: remove fender bolts add fork gaurd reinstall bolts and all is good.

They will keep tree limbs and brush from tearing up your fork seals ::008::
