Ok I have finished the bar swap and I am very pleased with the new bars. I jus want to give thanks to Defekticon... For the first gen model I had to use the 14mm bar end inserts. Not sure if Tapatalk will let me post some pics. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

That clears up why you threaded the bar ends. Hey, Thanks for all your help. I've ordered 2 different sizes of those expanding things for the proTaper bars. 12mm 14mm
