Thanks for the info Anthony. I sit with similar issues on my 2010. The Yamaha dealer I visited suggested, what they call, a MAJOR major service where they open it up and set all gaps to factory defaults. Will make notes and ask them to have a look, on my machine, to what you've mentioned.
