Update, finally got it back after quite a ling time...actually 9 weeks. I found a kit locally that contain the ignition switch, ecu and gas cap, with a set of key. I ended up just installing the ECU to make it work and make sure I dont miss a planned trip with some friends. My flashed ECU...

Happy ending about the ECU, they found it after a search request and will be delivered in couple days. 8 weeks later ;) So lets go ride this bike! Cheers!

I tried to confirm this but was not able to find anyone that would know. For few hundreds box, I'd try it. So far all I got is a 575lbs boat anchor in my garage ;).

Of course, the story about the ECU add a little bit of emotion to this, and also that it cost me more than 1000$ and cancelation for all my motorcycle trip this year.

bike looks pristine, 2015 with 45k km, so not much. Got leaking rear drive, leaking fork seal, leak in exhaust.

Bought this bike as the most reliable but so fat I had to do more maintenance than on my 1200GSA, let's hope it will be better in the future. Also, the ECU does not help at all. :)

Unfortunately, this one is for the 1st gen. Mine is a second gen with a different part number. The ony one available on ebay is a 1000usd, which make 1500$ canadian. A bit expensive. thanks again!

I've had hard time getting answer from 2wheel, and they only have the ''usual'' 100$ insurance, so that won't cover the price. I haven't seen the one at 300$ as I would have bought it right away. And I will have to do a little bit of research as I'm from Canada and not sure where to start...

Just bought a S10 and so far, it's a catastrophy. I hope that I will get more luck with this bike.

Hi, I've sent my ECU to 2whelldynowork and after being flashed, it is now in the mail for 7 weeks with no update since 5 weeks. At this point, I'm trying to find another ECU and maybe be able to do at least one ride this year. My bike is a 2015 so I'd be looking a a 2BS-8591A-30 or -40...
