3/16" brake line.

I gathered up that info about the brake bypass into a PDF, in case I ever needed it. I've attached a copy, which has the links to the ABS bypass threads.

I was able to open it. I think it was because I originally tried it on my cell phone.

Thanks for the diagram, really helpful, can i just check that with the pipe going to the rear caliper, now you have disconnected it from the ABS Pump, you connect it to the master cylinder?
I haven't looked at the connections, but is the it the same fitting, or as the lines are crimped do you have to have a new crimped line made?

I've never done the repair, so I can't give you an informed answer about the routing of the brake lines. I copied the info and diagrams from another post here on the forum and kept them for future reference, just in case. If you follow the link that I included with the PDF I posted above, it will hopefully answer your questions about the proper installation. The member who provided the info, MikeinNZ, hasn't been on the site since 2022, but he might still be reachable via the private message service on the forum if he still has the message notification linked to his email.

You can just run a brake line from the front master cylinder down to the front calipers and from the rear master cylinder to the rear caliper. Install two brake hoses, bleed them both and go ride,

I looked at your other post regarding your ABS issue, and saw you mentioned an upcoming MOT inspection for the bike before your trip. I know the MOT inspections in the UK can be pretty strict; if you try this bypass before the MOT, have you checked to see if bike will pass inspection with an altered ABS system?

The tester would never remove the seat so therefore would never know that ABS has been bypassed BUT if the ABS light is illuminated it would be an instant fail.
So unless the light is on, chances are it will pass!
