Yamaha Canada website has 2022 Super Tenere ES, along side the Tenere 700.
That guy was wrong with everything he said.Guess the "in the know" guy, who also had a friend, who knew a guy that had connections was wrong........ again.
Going to be the same bat channel next summer.
It always makes me smile when people say this, just what technology do you think that we really “need”? You want a huge multi-colour screen with more information than you can possibly absorb when you are riding a motorcycle? Do you want fully active suspension that will render your bike immobile and expensive when it pops a seal perhaps? More riding modes than you can possibly use? Are you a fashion victim who reads too many motorcycle magazines that tell you what they think you “need” as opposed to really want?I loved all 4 of my Teneres, but 8 year old technology looks pretty out of date in today's Adventure market. It can probably linger around as a great lower price alternative to a modern bike.
Having second thoughts about that R1250GS??!!It always makes me smile when people say this, just what technology do you think that we really “need”? I am not a Luddite, in fact, I quite like technology, but my money goes to ABS primarily, then traction control and 6 channel IMU, and decent LED lights as standard. Do you really need Apple Car Play? My S10 gives me the information and technology that I actually need, speedometer, trip mileage, rev counter, heated grips and centre stand! I want a fairly rugged, comfortable and reliable motorcycle thank you very much.
I'd say he's done thinking.Having second thoughts about that R1250GS??!!
Hahaha! No, I never wanted the R1250GS, I don’t trust the shift cam, but I have thought about the R1200GS but without the TFT and some other bells and whistles. To be honest, it is the thought of all the bells and whistles that puts me off. Well that and the fact that each time I ride my S10 I question my sanity about changing it!Having second thoughts about that R1250GS??!!
Right on point. I am no Luddite either but there comes a point when information overload becomes dangerous. We are on bikes to ride. Safety and performance enhancements are one thing, but if I wanted to be entertained I could purchase the latest "self driving" car and watch Harry Potter movies until I crashed into the side of a truck. It always makes me smile when people say this, just what technology do you think that we really “need”? So, where are they? Are they still too good to come to our forum? Or, have they signed up, and are just not telling us where/what they came from?. . . . I have noticed that quite a few on that site either own or have owned or have recently bought themselves an S10 and there are an awful lot of R1250GS for sale.
This year I replaced a '14 with a new '21 based upon concerns of refresh or discontinuance. Had Yamaha put out a refresh I'd have considered it and backed away if it was a two-wheel video game, but I'm just as thrilled to have this one w/YES. The S10 has taken the work out of bike buying for me because it's the only sensible choice for my form of use. Long live the S10.Right on point. Thank you no, I will stick with actually riding the beast. Keep the "technology"
I've been on UKGSER for a few years, I'm sure a few S10 owners will come across now Longdog has been pimping out this forum on thereSo, where are they? Are they still too good to come to our forum? Or, have they signed up, and are just not telling us where/what they came from?
Brand New Color?! Took me a minute...Nice to see the 2022 will get a BNC update.
So . . . . matte black is a brand new color? Of course, that does help explain why the price hasn't risen much over the years,
Much better. I was referring to the Bold New Color.Brand New Color?! Took me a minute...
I was thinking BadA Numerical Control or something.
