Hi all,
After waiting nearly 6 months for the right S10 to come up..I’ve finally got the bike I wanted.
A low milage, gen 2 in blue (would prefer the Yellow if it was available in the UK) full dealer service history, nice set of Givi panniers included. Was holding out for a private sale hoping to get a bit more for the money but a can tell you very few bikers who own a Super Tenere don’t let go of them, always a good sign! Got a decent price from a dealer.
Will put a few “essentials” on it over the next few weeks, rear hugger, front fender extender, front fork protector etc Planning on gettting the ECU flashed soon as well, would like to know how the bike runs without it first so I can see the change in a flashed ECU, anything else you guys would recommend?
I owned a Moto Guzzi Stelvio before, loved owning it, you did feel different knowing it was a Guzzi and there was hardly any of them on the road so you did feel a bit special, it looked great but I just didn’t have that trust in it as you should with a bike if you’re going touring, had planned to take it around the UK, had lots of niggley problems with it, sad to see it go but this bike is 10 times better.
Plan is to take it up to Scotland later in the year, can’t wait, hope to see some of you on the road!
