I know its a bummer. Come on down and we can just ride in the Daniel Boone NF. I've got lots of tracks from the Loose Nut DS ride and the Red River Scramble that need exploring.I should be packing the bike tonight and getting ready to roll first thing tomorrow morning....overnight at my place in KY tomorrow night and then meetup with kywoodsrider for the trip to Marble Falls.
Thinking about it! As soon as it's staying a little bit warmer at night so I can enjoy my little cabin I'll throw the WR250 on the hitchhauler and head down. Just a couple more weeks.......I know its a bummer. Come on down and we can just ride in the Daniel Boone NF. Not going to stop me from heading down to my little primitive camp back in the KY woods.....I'm afraid the lock down will last much longer then May 1. Much longer.
Haven't yet. What did you guys decide on the Fall date?

I would at this point have the toy hauler loaded and ready. As soon as my medical treatment gets done tomorrow would have left for southern Missouri and be in Marble Falls early on Thursday. As Dirt_Dad and others noted, some of us would have been in Marble Falls tonight.
I was just there yesterday. Out and about riding the twisty AR roads on a beautiful sunny 85°F day. Was nearby so decided to pull in for a look. No signs of any renovation, place looks the same.As Dirt_Dad and others noted, some of us would have been in Marble Falls tonight.
That only helps if you change your post to say, "Extreme white out, blizzard conditions!"....If it’s any consolation, the weather looks kinda iffy. Might have been a rainy camp out.

I'm cheating on the Tenere this trip. I had never owned or even ridden a sportbike so gifted myself one for my 60th b-day this year. Decided I better give it a try while my body can still bend. It's taking some getting used to for sure but I'm liking it. Did almost 600 miles yesterday and I wasn't completely spent yet. Body is feeling just fine this morning.

No I didn't peek into any of the rooms since nobody was around. My comment was really about the grounds as that was the limit of my visit. Looked the same to me as in 2015 except I didn't remember that redwood fence. I'm a property manager so I know how easy it is to drop thousands $$ into repair and upkeep that is basically invisible. I thought the rooms were acceptable in 2015 so they must be really nice now after renovation. I hope our fall dates stick. No signs of any renovation?
Didn't notice the new roof on the restaurant building?
Or the new entrance to it on the south side?
Must not have looked in any of the rooms or the motel check-in lobby either because they have all been renovated and update/changed.
Nice looking bike btw
