I haven't had the center stand on my bike for most of two years and not missed it.
btw - It's surprisingly heavy.

Just get one of the BMW electric center stands, I think their big touring bike has one?
What do you do at tire change time?I haven't had the center stand on my bike for most of two years and not missed it.

I rented a F750GS in Spain this year, and have to say it was magnificent in many ways and I was beginning to envy it.Eeeew, you said the "B" word.
Same, but I 'stand' on the arm part of the stand so that my full bodyweight is on the stand while dismounting, just in case I do not have enough lean angle, also stops the bike from moving under me.Since I find the S10 easy to raise onto the center stand, I was tempted to go out to the garage and try to do it while mounted.
But as I looked at it (in my slippers!), I came to my senses. I may or may not succeed, may or may not damage me or the bike, but I have no reason to do that now or later.
Always dismount with the sidestand down, get good at stepping on the left footpeg to dismount, and put it on the center stand the normal way.
There's a well used small compressor and plug kit in the top box. I also have AMA towing if really needed but so far have only had to use it once with an older truck. What do you do at tire change time?
Nah!! That's after you drop it over and have to hump it back up.Sounds like a hernia in the making to me.
Am i missing something, the SuziThe Burgman
Mis-spelled, too used using Bergmann as a name here, so defaulted to Burgman, but you are right, it's a big plush croozer-scooterAm i missing something, the Suzi Bergman is like a big scooter with a floorboard and a big gap to slide out ether side?
Same with me 6'3" 32" inseam...Mine came back 49% Silverback. Juuuust enough human to ride a bike.
Corrected.Mis-spelled, too used using Bergmann as a name here, so defaulted to Burgman, but you are right, it's a big plush croozer-scooter
Yes it is.... and it still weighs almost 600lbs. It’s basically a giant automatic cruiser.Am i missing something, the Suzi"Bergman"Burgman is like a big scooter with a floorboard and a big gap to slide out ether side?
Unfortunately I'm 2 of you and then some. How much will that left peg hold? I worry even more about the side stand. I know it's already holding a heavy bike.Hell at 155lbs it is all I can do to get in the stand when off the bike.
Always use left peg to mount and dismount
Tenman. I LOVE thd Fonz reference. I often ride of on mine from being on the centre stand without putting my feet down (hope that makes sense). I hope thats something the Fonz would do??
+2Me too. We cool.
