New, very new, s10 owner here. My true 2 wheeled love is a 1977 mongrel Moto Guzzi 850T3.
First impressions? S10 feels slow but is fast, Guzzi feels fast but is slow. Guzzi might be better on dirt.
S10 shares similar hewn from granite feel to this old Tonti (google it). I wonder if many guzzisti are covert s10 riders?

Oh yes, true love and all that. '79 T3, odo's gone three times over in 30+ years, and I can safely say the S10 has RUINED that relationship, the Tonti hardly sees the light of day these days.
Problem is, while it doesn't have half the personality, the S10 has twice the going and stopping power, which is addictive, and does the rest just as well as the T3.
So the Guzzi's now like dinner by candlelight. I need a reason, and one doesn't come up that often.

There is a Guzzi T4 for sale on line here in Australia at the moment. In a garage covered in dust for the last 10 years but "ran well when last used". I am sorely tempted seeing these bikes. It could make a good 'evening project bike' getting it back on the road. I'm not the type to make it "better than factory". I like the patina of age and use and would prefer to get it running as is.

My feeling was that it would be in need of a lot of work. The first question is, why was it parked up in the first place? The clutch cable is disconnected for start.
