MCN Today, we’re riding MV Agusta’s new Enduro Veloce both on and off-road.

Headline figures from the new 931cc triple motor are 122bhp and 75lb.ft, with over 80% of that torque available from 3000rpm onwards. It’s also packed with tech, including a full suite of rider aids that even includes launch control.

It comes equipped with 21” front and 18” rear wheel sizes, which means that it has some hefty competition in the sector. However, at 224kg dry, it’s going to be interesting to see how well it holds its weight and if it’s as capable, sporty and friendly as MV claim.

At £21,800, the Enduro Veloce is at the high end in terms of cost, especially for a sub-litre adventure machine - however it does come with a four year warranty.

Did BMW have a 3-year unlimited mileage warranty back around '80? Somebody told me that back then. I was thinking that was impressive for a touring bike company even if it was only for three years. I was just buying my 550 SECA and questioning the short 12month Yamaha warranty. (that was never used or needed)

I bought a new BMW r100rs in 1982, had 1 yr unlimited mileage warranty. The 3 yr warranty was introduced in 83 and was retroactive to include my 82, sweet! The unlimited mileage part was retained in Canada but restricted to 60,000 miles in USA a few years later. I don’t know about current bmw warranty.

Wow. Y'all didn't get the 60K restriction because they knew y'all were snowed in for half the year. :D The RT I rode had a 36month/39,000 mile warranty. Seemed odd. Until it hit 39,001 miles and fell apart. :D

Honda Goldwing comes with 3 years unlimited mile warranty, when my 2002 was new the warranty even covered towing , motels and food. Honda has always treated me very well.
It’s surprising how lousy most motorcycle warranties are these days, all kinds of other equipment come with 5-6 year warranty’s.

4 yr warranty is kinda scary.
Scary? Why? Ducati have had a 4 year warranty for about 2 or 3 years now. I think it shows that the manufacturer has confidence in the product, unlike BMW where you have to pay to extend the warranty. I believe that Suzuki are offering life long warranties on condition the bike is serviced at a Suzuki dealership, so thats pretty much a no-brainer!
