Maryland - Blue S10

Hello from Maryland!

Currently riding an '09 800GS, and an '06 ST1300A. My prior bikes have been an '07 KLR650, '98 ST1100, '97 PC800, and '96 V-Star 650 (1st bike). I've been watching and reading about the S10 for well over a year on ADVrider, and am very excited about it - seems like everything I'm looking for in a bike, all rolled into one sweet blue package! Ordered on September 2 from Yamaha Sport Center in Longview, Texas. I can't wait to get down there in May and take the long way home (after doing the break-in miles!) ;D

welcome chris. make sure you mark on the google map under the "home" section where you live. I too came from an ST1300 last bike, but now have the DL1000 VSTrom and look forward to the shaft again.

May seems like a very LONG way off! I am really hoping to find an S10 anwhere in the US or Canada to at least SIT on before then... Was in Wales two weeks ago, and just barely missed the opportunity to go for a test ride... dealer sold the bike literally the evening before. :'(

Thanks Jeff! I think the google map thing should work now. After putting somewhat over 33K on the 800 GS in the past year, I am definitely looking forward to shaft drive, tubeless tires, and ABS that behaves itself.
