Howdy,

I've been lurking on these forums since right before I bought my 2013 Matte Grey back in November 2021, with approximately 37K miles on it from Central MA Powersports in Lunenburg, MA (MAYBE the previous owner is/was a member of this board, the previous owner was METICULOUS with the maintenance history and outfitted it very nicely which led me to the purchase)

Currently have almost 64K miles on the ODO now and I am eagerly making my way to 100K as I try to ride as close to I can to year round (havent been brave enough to ride in the snow/ice) and commute to work. So far I've ridden 99% of the time on asphalt/concrete, I would like to get involved with more dirt/gravel this summer. Maybe the VT puppy dog route up to Derby Line or at least a solid portion of it. Only experience on dirt so far is a few dirt roads near home and on one Class 4 road in VT up to the cabin.

I've taken the bike out to the Tail of the Dragon down through the Blue Ridge Parkway, out to Niagara Falls, Acadia National Park, all the way up to the First Mile in Fort Kent, Maine. Some of my favorite riding in the Northeast has been throughout the twisties of Vermont, upstate New York, and the white mountains region of New Hampshire. I would love to take this same bike up to Alaska some day and hit up the rest of the lower 48 states. This site has been very inspiring.

Previous/other bike experience was with an '06 Yamaha FZ6 I rode for about 20K miles from Sept 2020 to when I sold it to my brother back in May 2023 for his first bike, and the 1978 Honda CB400 I learned on back in the summer of 2020 thanks to a good friend of mine. Love riding the CBR500r the other half purchased, and love the FJR1300's my best friend has been trying to convince me to procure as well.

I've read a lot of posts on the board, and learned a lot of valuable information about the bike (and others) and I'm looking forward to sharing my experiences and getting in on the fun.

Welcome, from Texas. I was born in Boston, and my mom's family is still back there in Weston, Waltham, and Marlborough. I don't do wet pavement anymore either.
