and someone could get hurt in the process...You'll need another set of hands but it can be done. A set of USD fork tools does make the job easier.

If they were a difficult fork to disassemble and/or with a lot of spring preload, I'd agree. The Tenere standard or ES fork is neither.and someone could get hurt in the process...
I fabbed mine from available parts laying around. Not that expensive.
