Fault Code 42

Hi guys, my bike has been displaying fault code 42 for a few days. It started out with erratic speedometer indications while I was riding, and eventually just displayed zero even though the bike was moving.

I just changed out my rear wheel sensor yesterday, however the fault still persists. I rotated the rear wheel on diagnostic mode code 7 and there were still no signals picked up from the sensor, hence I suspect it could be a wiring issue somewhere and not a sensor issue.

Any advice on what could I look at next?

Also check diagnostic code 21

So turns out the issue was a faulty ABS unit. Didn't know that it affected the speedometer reading till now!
