2023 Design Changes To OEM Side Panniers

Any comments on whether the redesigned panniers on the 2023 model have improved their operation/function?

It appears that they are based on GIVI Trekker Outbacks.
The design of the pannier latch, the lock mechanism and the tie-down loops on the top lid
of the ones Yammy are offering are quite similar to the GIVI Trekker Outbacks.
YMMV....

I'm thinkin' Goose is right. The Raid Edition was the first Tenere to use the "new design". And IIRC they were GIVIs. They gotta be better than the OG box latches.

Are the 2024 casses the same as the raid, if so they are Givi with the Yamaha pressed into to outside faces, I have a 2018 and have found they are not that watertight and do need additional sealing if your going to be out in some real weather.

had my givi trekker outback 7 years now been caught in some horrible weather over the years never had a issue at all they been brilliant
