Got mine this afternoon and put it on. Very well made it looks like, and bolted up with zero issues. Had it on in about 20 mins.

REALLY like the exhaust note now. I do not believe it is much louder (minimal if so) but sounds much better. More throaty with a better growl at most RPMs.

Also - and I wonder if anyone else has noticed this? -my throttle in S mode is less “snatchy” or abupt? Easier to be smooth now. Wonder if the pipe has calmed down that abrupt S mode throttle in some way.

The Yosh exhaust definitely has influenced the power delivery. In S mode the throttle is definitely smoother and less “snatchy” or abrupt. From a stop shifts into first and then second are smoother than before. At speed in 5th or 6th gear roll-ons are less, I would say, “punchy”.

I am not certain what, if any, HP gains are there (Yosh claims what, a 1.8% increase or something?). I can say I feel the difference in the throttle - smoother maybe. Or rather it strecthes the rpms out more?

I bought that same yoshi with arrow headers and had the ECU flashed about 2 months ago. The bike is INSANE, I am most def going through tires faster... lol

I got that slip on just for the fact it's a lot lighter than stock. Did not mess with my fueling. I'm of the opinion that the stock Super Tenere runs very good right off the showroom floor. I have no desire to reflash the ECU to gain performance.

I bought a used Gen I that had the RS4 on it that had around 10k on the stock packing. Not hearing a new one, seemed like the packing was already burnt out, making it louder than I like on acceleration. Luckily, he still had the stock can so I put that back on and much happier with it and didn't notice any performance hit. I'm just not a fan of Brrrap.

Know what you mean. Exhaust note really is a personal preference like so many other things. I love the deep Brrap of the RS-4 mysef. I thought the new ones didn’t need new “packing”?

Don't really know myself but did see a repack kit online for $40-50. Figured since the note was a little crisper than suits my ears, thought a repack would fix it. Instead, tried it with the stock can so stayed with that.

I am about to do the same mod and was wondering what you did with the O2 sensor and if there were any other changes you needed to make.

Nope absolutely just bolt on. The O2 sensors you just unscrew from OEM headers and they screw right back in to the Arrow headers. Just remember to "wind up" the O2 sensor wires when you screw the sensor back in. You do that want the wires permanently twisted after refitting the sensors

Hey Shipwreck,, hows the exhaust mods as far as loudness? I've got the Yoshi pipe and thinking about the Arrow headers this winter. My stock headers are looking trashed from all the off road gravel and mud. I just don't want something that sounds like a Harley with straight pipes running down the road.
