yoshi sound supresser removal

Hello i have a yoshi rs4 pipe . Is the plastic end cap a sound reducer and can i remove it ? i can see there is a bolt that is tack welded but there is not enough room to get the bolt out without damaging the endcap which i dont care about. thanks for any advice.

Yes you should be able to get it out.

I used one of those little wrenches you see near the counter at Pep Boys/AdvanceAuto/

The bike sounds GREAT without the end cap . Like a Yoshi should !!
Beware do not strip the screw !! Its amazing how many tools it takes to get one stinkin screw out
