Before you look to put the throttle tamer on, ride it for a little time. See how your hand acclimates to it. Some have no problems with the way the throttle acts, some do. I have no problems with it, and I like the engine braking.

Make sure you do not have a lot of play in the throttle cable, that can make a lot of difference also.

My immediate plans are to install a T-rex skid plate and crash bar set and then mount at least one pair, maybe two pair of Clearwater's on the front and some kind of flashing LED brake light/rear end light blaster. My insurance company would like me to put an immobilizer or some kind of fairly sophisticated electronic anti-theft device on it. I'll put the Mad-staad bracket on the windshield, and a few guards here and there. Then ride, enjoy, have fun and just see what else it might "need"..... :cool:
Doesn't it come equipped with an immobilizer from the factory? All the models I've seen in Europe do have immobilizers, and my bike has it, so it is strange that some bikes don't...
