Been looking for just the right S10 SE for quite a while and missed several sales by literally minutes. Was beginning to think I was jinxed. Was wanting a '15 or '16 SE, in very good condition, less than 30K miles, at least a few farkles, reasonably priced, and within a days drive of here. FINALLY, was able to snag one, and it's exactly what I've been looking for! A '16 with about 7500 miles, a few farkles, decent price, close enough, and fantastic condition! Gonna fetch it home on Saturday. Additional farkle suggestions will be welcomed.

Congratulations. The search and the wait is the hardest part.
But once you get the bike you really do forget about what you just went through.
Enjoy the adventure.

Nice. In the best color even. I’d suggest some crashbars for the sides. Ride and enjoy.
My immediate plans are to install a T-rex skid plate and crash bar set and then mount at least one pair, maybe two pair of Clearwater's on the front and some kind of flashing LED brake light/rear end light blaster. My insurance company would like me to put an immobilizer or some kind of fairly sophisticated electronic anti-theft device on it. I'll put the Mad-staad bracket on the windshield, and a few guards here and there. Then ride, enjoy, have fun and just see what else it might "need".....

Congratulations and great color!
Skid plate has to be #1, as the sump is the Achilles Heel for these bikes. #2 is anything to protect the radiator.

Yep, I've already got the dealer lined up to check the spokes today. And there's a really good mechanic here in town that was a Yamaha mechanic for 16 years (just found out yesterday) that can do them for me in the future. He stressed how important that is, and also how important it is to not over-tighten the spokes. Said the wheel ribs can be easily ruined by overzealous tightening and not using proper torque specs.
