Yamaha Super Tenere XT1200ZE

I am reluctantly putting by bike up for sale. It is a 2014 Tenere in Blue (best colour) and is the ZE which has the electronic suspension and riding modes

Due to an ongoing back problem the bike is just sitting in the garage, it has been out once maybe twice in the last 12 months and it is such a shame not being used as intended

22317 miles with full service history - milage may go up slightly

The bike is booked in for MOT this weekend, whilst there it will be having a service and I have asked them to drop in some new rear brake pads.

Comes with full Givi Trekker Outback luggage , side cases also have inner bags, the smaller case has the Givi 35ltr storm bag and the larger has the Trekker Outback 45ltr inner bag

Currently fitted with the slightly larger touring screen, also have the original if preferred.

Hand guards

Crash bars fitted

Garmin Zumo 590LM fitted with a Touratech locking mount (one key)

Oxford optimiser battery tender also fitted to the bike

New Pirelli Road 5’s fitted last year which have probably done less than 250 miles

LED Spot lights fitted

Tank bag

The Garmin 590LM works perfectly and is up to date – the battery however if not plugged into the bike or computer is pants. I believe there is an easy fix for this but never bothered as its fine for my needs either plugged into the computer or fastened to the bike.

There is a bit of corrosion near the mount for the crash bars – on the bars not the bike, which I intended to remove and get re powder coated but to be honest it doesn’t bother me. If it’s a problem I can remove the crash bars and problem solved.

Looking on bike trader there doesnt seem to many around at the moment.

This is fully loaded with everything listed included - I believe there is even half a tank of fuel (worth a fortune on its own)

Not sure where to start with price with everything on, so I will say £7,250, I am sure the collective will let me know if I am way off the mark.

Thanks for looking and if you want any further details or pictures please send me a mesaage and i will get back to you

i,ll guess it is on here anyway, theres not a huge amount of UK tenere owners on here, and the ones that are have all got bikes that they have kitted out and love.
so to try and find a UK member on here thats looking for a bike is very very small. just my opinion so i,d guess you got much more chance on facebook market place, ebay

I think he has already put his bike on UKGSers, try putting it on Autotrader perhaps?

People are looking for S10s but those who have them seem to be holding on to them.

Good afternoon Guys

thank for the replies, the bike is already on the UKGSers site, I think I will have to add it to Bike Trader next

Richard
Apologies - just seen just seen your ad.

Not the best time to be selling, given the season & economic vagaries in the UK, but I appreciate needs must.

Maybe split off all the accessories, as they should have a more broad appeal?

A classified ad on eBay is only £14.99 and runs for 28 days, I've had some success in the past with both bikes and cars.

I usually do Ebay classified first. Never had any success on biketrader and ukgser only want bargains as a rule. Think its £20 for a classified on ebay, just do a straight sale and ignore the chancers. I always end my listing with ‘I’ll only talk a deal face to face’.

Thanks again guys, I will probably try it on eBay first then, will add it in the next day or so.
I have also thoght about stripping off the extra kit but that will end up with 4-5 different listings and dealing with postage etc, so I would prefer it going as a package.

To be honest i think your better off taking all the extras off so you can keep the price down as mych as you can.

I have been selling my Tenere 2018 for a whole year. They are very ill-equipped on the market. In Russia, no one rides them))

I wont be having another bike for a while due to back issues, I havent used the bike properly over the last 12-18 months and hate to see it in the garage not been used. hopefully in the future if ongoing treatment works I will be looking for another, not sure what that will be though
oh ok,

get better soon fella
