Basically, the problem is in the mounting arcs, so all I really need is back panel they're on.

That's a fairly large subframe back there. There are a lot of folks breaking those across the web with fairly casual drops, some several times. Find an OEM parts fiche on-line and order the parts, nobody is going to have a spare kicking around. Even those doing a parting out will have broken that piece.

You mean 23P-28356-01-00? Yeah, broken too. I hoped somebody happened to have headlight with, say, broken glass but intact mounting ears - new is $500.
Damn, it's not just me. I've thought the bike is overbuilt.

Ah, I see the bits you're talking about. Can the glass be pulled from the housing? There is a parting-out here somewhere that the owner says the glass is broke, maybe the housing is ok? Yeah, that subframe is meant to keep other stuff from bending, sacrificial parts I guess.
