Looking for laminated warm leather waterproof short cuff gloves. Alot of gloves now have leather palms and textile backs. I dont like gloves that soak up water. Any sugestions. My favorite summer glove is Held Summertime 2 . I just wish they made a winter version.
Hmmmm....here's my inexpensive solution to keep your gloves and hands dry. I went to a farm supply store and I bought the largest heavy neoprene gloves I could find.
These rubber gloves when put over a riding glove gives additional protection from the wind and keeps your gloves and hands bone dry. Take your motorcycle gloves with you and try a few pairs on.
Works for me.

Actually now that I think about it, if I was going to do a lot of riding in the cold, and wet. . . . I'd use those things they make for snow mobiles. They attach to the handle bar, completely covering everything. That way you can wear thin gloves for clutch/throttle feel, but stay warm and dry.

A while ago, I looked at some Held winter all leather gloves, but didn't like the over $200 price for a glove I would not wear that much. I had a pair of Olympia all leather winter gloves that were inside of one of my saddlebags, that got stolen. I loved those gloves for the all leather wind blocking feature. I wound up replacing them with some Klim Gor-Tex backed (so called winter) gloves that only the palms were leather. The first time I wore them, I didn't like them. Too much airflow on the back of the hand. I am also concerned about them soaking thru in a downpour. Luckily I have those lobster claw Gor-tex over cover gloves from Aerostich. They are waterproof and windproof and good for at least another 20* lower temp. I don't like how slippery they are tho. I too would like to find a nice laminated warm leather waterproof glove at a decent cost.
I still have a pair of leather Olympias I run on in between cooler days. Days cold enough for gauntletts, but not enough for my heated gloves. Probably the same style you had. Had em since 91.

Like @viroid, I stick with what is actually a summer glove. With the wind protection that the Tenere has along with the handwarmers, the temperature has to drop below 40° before it starts to get uncomfortable. To me, viroid's method is the most efficient; warmth & ease of control manipulation. This is the one from Amazon that I've been using for a couple of years: wtactful Tactical Gloves for Men Touchscreen Military Gear Combat Shooting Motorcycle Glove; $16.99usd.
