Bloody hell... I've only gone and won the one on fleabay and now i find out there's gen 1 and gen 2 versions, I messaged the seller and he say's this one is off a gen 2

It will fit. I have a Gen 1 fitted to my Gen 2 without any mods. Your Gen 2 will fit, just have an extra hole in the winglet that you will not use.
