So, a lot of people are getting upset that military personnel are getting discharged for not getting the vaccine. Apparently, these people have never taken the Oath of Service, and if they have, they forgot a very important line. . . .

"I, _____, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God."

I'm also fairly certain that every country's military takes a similar oath. If a member of the military disobeys a direct order . . . . what do they expect to happen? I am not taking a stand for or against the mandate. But, an order is an order.

Covid is running wild here in Tucson, Everyone I know that has gotten it lately has been vaccinated. Are you all ready to admit that you have been had? Biggest money making scam in the history of the world. Spoiler alert, they will never stop pushing more and more experimental untested medicine until nobody is left undamaged. They are laughing all the way to the bank.

You do realize that the vaccine does not keep you from getting it 100%. The vaccine helps prevent you from dying from it. I had Omicron a month ago, and it lasted for six days. About the same as a "common" cold, with the omicron specific symptoms. Wife has it now, but she has more flu like symptoms, but not having any major issues. Which is what's being reported if you're up to date on your shots. Omicron is kicking people's butts that are not vaccinated. My wife and I have had the three shots and will continue to get the additional ones when recommended.

You do realize that these shysters refuse to address natural immunity, proven therapeutics, that masks are ineffective, that many are not comfortable with the OR ELSE line of bullying people into something they don't want? The wizards of smart running this con have been wrong all along. If it works for you an you are happy great, leave the rest of us alone. Saying the hospital are full of unvaccinated is a lie. The shots are a failure.

Natural immunity is all great and wonderful if you can survive the illness. There are thousands, if not more, that would not have survived without the vaccine . . . . and just as many, if not more, that didn't survive because they didn't get the vaccine. And, yes, there are thousands, if not more, that have survived without the vaccine. But the ones that I have personally met, that survived, have said that if they had to do it again, they would have gotten vaccinated. Those same survivors also went and got vaccinated due to how bad it was. Every person . . . . that I personally know . . . . that has died . . . . has been unvaccinated. None of my friends or family that's been vaccinated has died, or even caught Omicron.

I do agree that masks are not the answer. They do absolutely help . . . . when used correctly. They're only part of the equation. It's like changing your oil for years, but not changing the filter. We can't even get people to wash their hands on a regular basis, never mind keep their mask(s) clean.

Is somebody getting rich from the virus? Absolutely. Has there been shenanigans with virus? Absolutely. None of which is going to matter when you're lying in bed on a ventilator. But, yes, your choice. From what I've seen, that seems to be the main reason that people don't want the vaccine . . . .they don't want to be told to do something. I get that . . . . to a point.

Good luck.

More than 80% of the current ICU patients in Minnesota are unvaccinated with omicron. Per Sierra’s point, the original vaccinnes do not stop omicron but it does ease the severity. This is based on DATA from multiple institutions. (AHS, State of MN, Mayo)

A couple of weeks ago I attended services for some old friends who were unvaxed and in generally good health. They died while under treatment for COVID

I am curious what proof there is that all the major clinic, Universities, Agencies et al are all lying to pull a con? So far all I have seen and heard to support that is rhetoric and anecdotes, so please point me to some reliable data

Yea, I believe all the data...Some of us small business people who have had two years of misery because those who know better have been consistently wrong on every level telling me to buck up and miss a paycheck when they never do. I have worked this entire time, visit 80 businesses every week, come in contact with 100 people everyday and I have never worn a mask. I see sick people everyday and those who have recovered. Amazing that since Covid has come around we no longer have a flu season that kills thousand every year. There is no money in that. The CDC has walked back so much already. Follow the money big Pharma is in bed with the Universities and the Fauci's in the government. My mother died in 2017 after she got pneumonia, just like the elderly do every year, My sister died suddenly after her second jab last year. the Vaers numbers are horrific and why won't big Pharma release their data? Your hospital problems are because half the staff has left because they did not want the jab. What do they know?

I'm sorry for his loss. But that doesn't prove/disprove his point, only shows where his position is coming from. My dad passed last Sunday after refusing to get vaccinated. Life in not guaranteed. Neither Mike or I are likely to change our stance on the vaccination. But we still love the Tenere.

AZMike lost his sister after the second jab and you say this. What an Asshole response!
How the hell can I know? I sincerely feel sorry for his loss. The point is (very obviously) that the ever ongoing discussion (also here in The Netherlands) is still entertaining because both parties don’t want commit.

We all ride motorcycles on this forum, with that we all accept inherent risk . January first I started my 33rd year in business with inherent risk as well. I owe my success to a simple creed:
Honest when I am right, own it when I am wrong, my word means everything, and when something does not work have the courage and conviction to admit it and change course. The Covid response around the world does not follow this example.
