Didn't you just leave Arizona?
Snow bird annual migration. The trip will be a little different this year. Our son is in the Air Force, stationed in HI. He has not seen our AZ place. He is flying back to drive out with us. He loves road trips, which are limited in HI. His family and my daughters family will join us there to celebrate Christmas. He deploys for a 1 year TDY in Feb.

It's still mostly nice riding weather in my neck of the woods, but I expect that'll change within the next month or so...
As I don't ride my bikes on salty roads, they typically hibernate for about 4 months every winter.

Yeah, it's time to do the oil changes, add some Sta-Bil and find the trickle chargers. I will go for short rides if the roads are clear and the temps are over say 40 deg F. I usually take my DR650 out for those short winter rides. It's parked close to the door next to my snowblower and easiest to get out of the garage.

6-12" predicted by Sunday AM. I'm done. Going to Moab mid-December. Taking my dirt bike to ride dirt bikes with my daughters. That will be it until April.

Well, you must be a Michigander or a Minnesotan. Help me out.
Just don't fall out of the tree or fall through the ice.

Maybe 1 month left.. winters aren't bad here but unfortunately the city starts throwing huge amounts of salt when temperatures go towards 0 celsius. They dont stop until absolutely sure every bit of cold has left. The damn salt eats away anything you haven't protected well.

Needed a gallon of premium fuel for chainsaw this morning, was going to ride Tenere to town until I found out my one gallon gas can wouldn’t fit in saddlebag, so I rode the Goldwing instead, Only 13 degrees so had to wear winter gloves, dry and hardly any wind so it was a very nice 25 mile round trip, supposed to get up in the 30’s everyday for the rest of the week so I’m hoping to do a few more longer rides this week.
