Resuscitating old thread, breathe baby,
Assuming these riveted can type slip ons are internally similar/the same. Are any of you guys repacking? If so, how often? I have a 14 ST with a Delkavic stubby On an Arrow header that I installed new with, now, 15K miles on it (also with Anthony's reflash which is balls). Looks great but seems getting a bit loud. If so, what repacking kits do you like for longevity? Thanks

I have a 2014 with the Delkevic and love it. I have noticed that mine is getting louder however, I thought my hearing was getting better! :p:p:p

https://delkevic.com/delkevic-muffler-maintenance-and-re-packing-kit/ - that should do you fine. Every 10k miles is about the standard replacement cycle.

Do we need to reflash ECU too if we only change slipon exhaust to arrow ?
No. Your fuel system will adjust for the decreased back pressure. Assuming no intake modifications (oiled filter, etc), it will be fine.

I been running a two brothers for a long time. It is falling apart now. I can't see this pipe going another year or two. Of course it has 100,000 miles on it and is in all kinds of weather. the only other after market pipes I have ever used on any street bike was Vance and Hines on my FJ 1200 and I could not bet more than 30 to 40 thousand miles out of those. I put two old Honda 750 four bikes together and made one running bike for a buddy of mine years ago. the only pipe he had with either was a 4 into one header. No mid pipe no muffler. it ran good but not right at all. I told him it had to have a pipe on it to be right. He took a small flat turbo flow muffler for a car with offset inlet and outlet then welded up a mid pipe he made and built a hanger then painted it all black. I will have to say if that was not the best running 750 Honda I have ever rode it was right there with the best. It also sounded great and really didn't look bad at all. He did a great job making the pipe. Being I never run with out my boxes and my pipe is hidden I am seriously thinking of doing the same thing.
