Took my bike into town today. Nothing new, do it every day. But, today we had winds over 50mph, mostly out of the Northwest. Most of the roads I travel are north and south. Now, as y'all know, a head/tail wind is nothing too major. But, when the wind changes directions/speeds . . . . that's a whole different story. Between me and the big girl, we weigh in at over 900lbs. I've never had her moving around like she was today. My mileage ranged from 70mpg to as low as 24mpg @ 60mph; no bags. Normally, I get 60 @ 60. On the bright side, it was sunny, and 70F.

Your country is so big compared to Switzerland, I wish we had this size also to travels for hours/days and discovering cool spots.

Maybe better to compare countries in Europe to states in the US ? Seems closer to reality. Travelling in Europe can also take hours/days and there are plenty of cool
spots to discover too.
But I admit: the grass is always greener at the other side of the hill. Or in this case: the dessert seems dryer at the other side of the ocean.
