….Nice, I've been there, but on my Strom. Does it still count? :)
I had been to this when it was at another location. My boys and I had been riding all day in the area that I remembered it to be. Finally Googled it, and found that it had been moved.

Yes, as I recall they were going to lose it for some reason, but some community members rallied and found a new locale tp put it. I thought it was a pretty neat attraction! Would be sad to see it go away...

Finally got out for a decent ride today... about 160 miles. No place special, just enjoying the sunny day. Very weird though... lots of lost and confused pirates bikers. With all the bars closed they had no idea where to go.

I was reading that gun sales have broken new records. The last record sales were back in '08 when people thought that guns might be outlawed.

I 100% agree , websites have stopped taking online orders and some gun shop stop selling firearms like turners.

One of my local stores is a bigger shop, sells on average 150 or so guns a week. They sold 500 in 2 days early last month when the Governor issued the stay at home order here.
We have 30 ish gun shops in town, literally no one has 9mm, 12ga, 223 or 7.62x39.

BTW those NICS numbers they publish saying how many guns were "sold" do not tell the whole story. They do not include states that run their own system (14 of them) and those people that are exempt because they have a CCW. Also do not take into account the multiple purchase. So basically the number is maybe two thirds of the real.

Genuine question. Why the sudden need to buy guns and ammunition? You can't eat them or wipe your arse with them, so what's the logic?
Seeing the runs on TP and food at the stores freaked the average Joe right the hell out. Thinking it was the end times or some such nonsense. Then you get some large city Police basically saying "good luck on all that we are not responding to calls anymore unless someone is bleeding" further added fuel to the panic. Then some idiot states put a halt to all gun sales, again increasing panic....

These are people that have never owned a gun before and based on calls/work conversations, most of these people were in the "no one needs a gun" camp up until yesterday. The guy with the shotgun in the closet and the revolver in the nightstand were not the people for the most part in on this run on guns in the past month.

Zombie Apocalypse. . . . zombie rules are in effect. . . . .two to the chest, one to the head. Oh, wait, that's the body armor drill. Never mind. But, seriously, I think Kyle correct. People are seeing this as the end of times. The number of suicide calls has easily quadrupled. That includes: thinking about it, tried to, and completed.

I find it genuinely scary that people could come to that conclusion, that this virus constitutes some sort of "end game". Also genuinely sad that people are contemplating suicide as a response to it too. Thanks for explaining.

The part that bothers concerns me, is that yes, this is serious. But, the lights and water are still on, and there's food at the stores. What happens is something that makes COVID-19 look like a day at the park kicks off?

I think it has woken a lot of people up about how thin the barrier is. Hopefully that will be enough for the next thing.

Saw a dude in full MOPP driving his car down the street, serious moment of WTF. Like you said, lights are on, foods rolling, I went to McDonald's for breakfast this morning.... If this were real I don't even want to think about it...
